when will we play our part?

bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

terima kasih Ya Allah atas nikmat kelapangan dan ketenangan hari ini.

but, wait.
there are some issues arousing. those that need our attention greatly. ( I can see that my previous entry is so relevant to the issues)

Palestine. this is not a new story. in fact, it has been too long for an oppression to keep happening, and it seems there's no end to this. Allahu Allah.

they are our brothers and sisters. even so, they didn't ask for more. it's more than enough if we could pray for their victory on the Muslims' land. the honoured land flooded with the blood of the syuhada'. masha Allah.

and it is just right if we don't support the one who oppressed them for all these years.
to be precise, financially.

so, there are some issues on boycotting products from some companies. I won't say much as I don't have much sources for that. you can google it yourself if you want to.

but I'd rather write about the alternative products that we (well, average people like me) can consider.

since I was small, junkfood / fastfood is a BIG no-no in my family. When my father was still alive, I couldn't even glance at the potato chips or the Twisties packaging. anything with MSG, preservatives, too much of colouring are banned from my consumation. but there are times my parents would be lenient and that times are hard to come!

I never know McD is a fastfood department like KFC or A&W, because those two is the only places of fastfood that I'm allowed to go during my childhood. and that is only once or twice per year. yeah, believe me, it was that seldom.

and I never liked fastfood. it makes me nauseous (is that the right spelling?=.=") somehow maybe because of the highly-contained preservatives and MSG. euww. but yeah, there are times where my curiousity on the food will be much higher than the concern for my health. honestly, I've tried McD, Marrybrown and whatsoever. but, now is the time for a change. no McD, they said. yosh!

I don't really have  problems to stop eating fastfood. that will keep my diet a lot healthier. but for some of those times, when I actually can crave over a burger, Ramly burger would be the best choice. it's locally produced/cooked and less preservatives (depends on the hawker) nyum nyumm~ my first choice, of course would be Burger Aktif, back in Kuala Pilah, where I used to spend my 5 years in the boarding school. that burger has a very high reputation among the residents :O

talking about beauty products.
they said Loreal is a no-no. we have to boycott their products. for more decent phrases, we SHOULD NOT use them.
okay, this company has a lot of sub-brand. I've once used it, since I know nothing about the company. but come to think about it, I think there're abundance of other beauty products. if you want that up-to-date and glamorous user feeling, Japans and Koreans products have lots more to offer on a reasonable cost (for some). and not to be left out, Malaysia itself has numbers of high-quality beauty products, on much lower cost! banzai for your pocket money on this 'should-not-use' thingy.

for the food and beverages. euww. I never really like soft drinks. but I do like isotonic drinks :)
I once loved Nestle products. but we have to be more considerate towards our family in Gaza. so, I tried a few alternative range of products. alhamdulillah, it works well for me. I mean, awesomely well :)

for instant milk powder, I pick Nespray from Fonterra over Everyday from Nestle.
for cereal beverages, I pick Vico over Milo/Nesvita. wow, Vico is really delicious. I love the cereal version, it does help my digestion process. alhamdulillah. and I will always love my Boh Green Tea >.<
for biscuits, I am always a number one fan of Munchys products. period.

and I've never went to Starbucks. I don't even know what they sell. sorry to say.
but I like Big Apples and King's Confectionery. wonder if they should be blacklisted as well? because if I was not mistaken, they are Malaysian companies. I guess so.

well these are my preferences of products. eventhough I have this little tendency to buy Japan/Korean products. I love their electronic products. period.

well well. what a long post. all in all, what I'm trying to convey here is let's help with what we can. DONATE (refer to my previous post). DON'T SPEND MONEY to which sector that can AID ISRAELI ATTACKS AND OPPRESSION TOWARDS MUSLIMS. and don't ever forget to PRAY for our families there.

when we're supressing our lust towards some products, there are so many other alternatives that we can consider. but the Muslims in Gaza, do they have the privileges to have any alternatives to choose whether to be attacked or not? whether to be killed or not?

answer yourself carefully now. because when the time comes when Allah will ask when did you play your part to support the Muslim brotherhood? to help the oppressed brothers and sisters?
we still have time. so when exactly will we play our part?
